Overview
Gynaecologic oncology is a branch of cancer that focused on cancers of the female reproductive system. It begins in different locations within a woman’s pelvis (area below the stomach and in between the hip bones).
Each gynaecologic cancer is unique, with different signs & symptoms, risk factors and prevention strategies. All women are at risk for gynaecologic cancers, and risk increases with age.
